Mazarron
Country Club
Mazarron Country Club is a small, luxurious complex of properties
located only 5 minutes from the town of Mazarron, 40 minutes from
the city of Murcia and 15 - 20 minutes from the costal resorts of
Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo. The complex has a superb communial
swimming pool, bar / restaurant and social club. A 9 hole golf course
pending and a small commercial (shopping) centre is soon to be completed.
An 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away and the new Polaris World
at Alhama de Murcia only 15 minutes away.
Mazarron
and Puerto de Mazarron
Mazarron, with it's shops, banks, bars, and restaurants, is a small
town 15 minutes from the coast. It also has its own outdoor market
on Saturday mornings. The coastal area of Mazarrón boasts 35 kilometres
of some of the finest beaches in Spain and has been awarded the
coveted Blue Flag for its water quality. There is a large Marina
and sea front where you can relax and enjoy the local Tapas and
fresh seafood dishes.
Cartagena
& Lorca
The Historical Cities of Cartagena and Lorca are both only 35 minutes
away by car. Cartagena (one of the oldest cities in Europe) with
its beautiful water front, shops, restaurants and bars is well know
throughout Spain for its Carthaginians & Romans Festival. Founded
in pre Roman times it has several archaeological remains including
a Roman amphitheatre. Lorca with its rich history and castle is
another town of historical interest and its Easter Fiesta (La Semana
Santa) is one of the best in Spain.
Sierra
Espuña Natural Park
The Sierra Espuña Mountain range is only a short drive away and
can be accessed though Alhama de Murcia or Totana. Here you can
enjoy mountain views, see the wild Boar and Barbary sheep and sample
traditional Spanish cuisine from a number of restaurants in the
mountain region. Notable places to visit are the hillside village
of Aledo and the stunning Monasterio De Santa Eulalia. Many walking
trails are marked out by the National Park Ranges.
